1440p/144hz Future proof build for console convert pc building site custom pc builder

Build Help:

This is just my first run at a new gaming PC. Any improvements or suggestions are welcome as I'm not really married to any one specific product and want to get the best possible parts for the best price.

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes Sir.

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Converting to PC gaming from an Xbox One. Looking to play any future and current AAA titles coming to the market at 1440p with at least 60fps. Possibly looking to 4k and VR sometime in the future so would like to be prepared for that. And hoping to keep it future proof for the foreseeable future (3+ years). And of course using it for normal everyday tasks like netflix and such. Would also like to keep quiet

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

1440p with at least 60fps+ on high to Ultra settings (want to make my console obsolete). Have no interest with overclocking.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

From the builds I'm basing this off is around $1300 - $1400 but the budget is somewhat flexible if there are parts that are clearly better

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please).

Also looking for a 1440p/144hz monitor and keyboard and mouse as I'm currently using an old Razer blackwidow/death adder combo
