1440p 27'' 60Hz monitor vs 1080p 24'' 144Hz 1ms? pc building site custom pc builder

Hey! I'm right now using the Dell U2713HMt, which is a great screen. However I plan on buying a new headset where the screen can be included for a heavily reduced price (50%)

This is a BenQ 24'' XL2411Z with 1 ms, 1080p, 24'' and 144Hz.

I'm just wondering if the drop from 1440 is going to be too big to cut up, and how well I can utilize 144 Hz with a GTX 960.

I read about pixel density, and a 22'' 1080 being about the same as a 27'' 1440, does this apply here too?

What would you say?
