This Build is for my soon to be father-in-law. His birthday is coming up and the fiancee and I want to replace his 15 year old computer. We are talking low-end build here boys. Microsoft Word, maybe some youtube, web browsing, and that is it. I've done 3 other builds before, one for myself and the others for friends but they were $800-$2000 builds so this is kinda different from what i'm used to. Is it worth building something like this versus just buying a premade from somewhere?

Two questions right off the bat, is 8gbs of RAM going to be overkill or even noticeable or should I just do 4gb? Secondly, I know the Rosewill PSU is low-tier but not the worst. Will it do or should I go with a slightly more reliable brand (EVGA something something or EVGA 500B). Open to hints and suggestions on just about anything. Also I recgonize the SSD might seem out of place on a build this inexpensive but after experiencing the SSD-life myself I would hate to subject anyone else to anything different. IDK tell me if im crazy.
