Building My First Gaming PC On a $500 Budget pc building site custom pc builder

Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes.

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Gaming for titles such as CS:GO, Rocket League, NBA 2K17, DOOM 2016, Borderlands 2, and GTA V. Occasionally I may edit videos in After Effects and photos in Photoshop, along with the usual schoolwork within the Google suite of applications.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

I am looking for medium to high settings in 60 fps for current titles since I only have a 60 hertz refresh rate monitor at the moment. This will run at a resolution of 1920x1080.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

Anywhere from $450 to $550.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

US.

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.

The motherboard price is after a rebate and expected CPU+MOBO combo deal at Micro Center (based off of the current Ryzen 5 1400 CPU+MOBO combo deals). All other edited prices such as the PSU, RAM, SSD, and GPU were changed to match the prices at my local Micro Center.

This will be my first build so please correct me on any compatibility issues, and I am also open to different case options which are better suited for first time builders. Thanks in advance!
