Comparing 3 Builds... Buy Now, or Wait? pc building site custom pc builder

Build Help/Ready:

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

80% Gaming, 20% working. Gaming includes esports titles like CSGO, PUBG, and the occasional AAA game like Destiny 2. Working includes very light web design, spreadsheets, and photoshop. Would like to jump into VR sometime in the future.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

I've always prioritized performance over image quality. For years I've gamed on low settings with a 1080p 60hz monitor. I'd like to make the jump to 144hz. I'd be completely fine sticking with 1080p, I'm not convinced going to 1440p will be worth the extra cost, considering what I'm currently used to. I'd even consider sticking to low settings with a cheaper GPU if the cost savings were that great.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

~$2000 including both monitors.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

USA - Texas

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.

I'm most concerned with getting the best bang for my buck. Seeing how much higher than MSRP the current mid-range GPU prices are makes me feel like I should wait for Vega to see how that impacts the market. At the same time, I feel like there will be always something around the corner making me wait if I keep that mentality. As you can see in my build drafts, I'm needing dual-monitors. One will be for gaming, and the other will be strictly for working. I do not mind if the sizes are +-1" in difference. Any and all feedback or advice is greatly appreciated.
