Customizing my first gaming rig. Please help! pc building site custom pc builder

Hello everyone!

I am needing some advice on building a PC. My budget is $2500. I am hoping to get the most bang for my buck. I play all types of games and do photo/video editing as well. I don't really care for colorful lighting. Just want a quiet, cool (temp.), beast of a rig that will be able to play most games on ultra settings. I have provided a list below of some of the parts I have in mind.

Case: NZXT Source 340 Elite (Black/White) RAM: 32GB (or is 16GB enough?) Video Card: GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X Hard Drive: 1 TB Samsung 850 EVO 6.0GB/s SSD (I have lots of external harddrives so I am thinking of just buying 1 SSD for my drive.)

I understand that some of those parts are on the pricier side so I am open to suggestions. Below are some more questions I have.

What are the main parts I should spend more money on?

Air cooling or liquid cooling?

For the power supply, what wattage is enough for this rig?

I appreciate your advice and input, thanks!!!
