Good value Monitor for this build? pc building site custom pc builder

I already ordered everything in the list below except from the Monitor since i'm still unsure about what to buy. I've already gotten used to a 27" 2560x1440 60Hz since its what i use right now. The problem is that it's an Imac...

I'm ready to spend up to 800$ (Canadian) after taxes. I'm more looking for value for the money spent so if there's a little less good monitor that cost 400$ i'd probably go for that one.

I like to play games competitively like CS:GO and Overwatch, so i'm not sure if i should go for 2560x1440 or 1920x1080 but i would probably want a high refresh rate monitor and i would need to meet that refresh rate easily on most games.
