Need Some Advice for Building a "Gaming" PC for My Wife pc building site custom pc builder

Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

I am building a computer for my wife to play PC games on. She isn't really into AAA titles. She mostly plays games like the Nancy Drew series, the Sims, remastered versions of Day of the Tentacle. She might play games like Spore, Portal, or possibly WoW.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

Looking to get 60 FPS @ 1080P on best settings for the games listed above.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

$Cheap... honestly, I'd like the build to be as cheap as possible, while still meeting the goals. She is concerned about aesthetics for than anything, so the smaller the case the better.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

I'm really not sure where to begin, but this is what I have so far. I think the GPU may be overboard for what she needs though.

Provide any additional details you wish below.

Looking to slim down the build wherever I can.
