PC Specs check + help with Monitor & and other peripherals pc building site custom pc builder

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

It would be mainly used for gaming, anything else (photo editing etc) is of minimal importance.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

1080p, 60-120 fps and reasonably high settings (though frame rate is more important).

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

For the tower it is ~£1000 (which it currently is). For peripherals I'm not sure what the normal price range is but probably like ~£300, though willing to increase to get a good monitor.

In what country are you purchasing your parts? United Kingdom

For peripherals I'm a lot less certain. For keyboard and mice I'm thinking a Thermaltake Poseidon Z Mechanical Illuminated Gaming Keyboard and a Corsair CH-9301011-EU Harpoon Multi-Colour RGB Backlit Performance Optical Gaming Mouse.

The monitor I'm really stumped on. I don't really care about resolution so 1080p is fine and I'd like 120fps, but I do not understand monitor specs at all. Is there any particular models you'd recomend, or at least places to look?
