Upcoming Christmas Present to Myself. Still a Work in Progress. pc building site custom pc builder

Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes.

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Dual boot Windows on a 240 GB SSD (will upgrade to 500 GB in the future) and Hackintosh build on a 120 GB SSD (Will replace with 240 once Windows SSD upgrades).

General gaming and video editing.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

I'm not particularly picky about this as long as any game can run at a steady 1080 without any noticeable choppiness. VR ready would be a huge plus, but not a deal breaker.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

1000-1500 USD

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

United States

The parts that are listed as $0.00 are items that I already have, but may replace or upgrade over time. To set the space, I have a Blue/White desk with an 11"x23" opening where I currently house my build.

Although my current build works like a charm, it is 7 years old and not at all Hackintosh compatible.

I'll be revising this list once in a blue moon as I work towards saving up to buy all the parts in October/November.
